Kayla Stone will present the 1st Annual Ovarian Cancer Awareness Event, taking place at Verlie B. Collins Recreation Center, 614 Brentwood Street in Sylacauga on September 13, 2014, and featuring Dancing Stars Incorporated, Houston Edwards and Sidney Harris.

The mission of this first ever event is to expand public awareness about symptoms of Ovarian Cancer through awareness presentations and the distribution of educational materials. Our focus is to educate attendees towards early detection of the deadly disease and, by doing so, save lives.

The purpose of the event is to create a branch of networking through entrepreneurship; in which all proceeds will go to the Lorie Johnson Foundation.
